Welcome to Michael Creek Goldens! We’re a small, family-run breeder of purebred English Cream Golden Retrievers with European lineage.

After retiring, we (Mike and Anita) decided to pursue our lifelong passion for dogs by raising and breeding Goldens. Our foundation dam, Layla Pearl, comes from the exceptional lines of Pristine Goldens in Pennsylvania and has been OFA certified and DNA tested for health and genetic integrity.

We raise our dogs in our home in Michael, Illinois, just north of St. Louis, and are committed to ethical, responsible breeding practices to ensure our puppies are healthy, happy, and well-loved companions.

we are

We are Michael Creek Goldens. We are a small scale breeder of purebred AKC registered English Cream Golden Retrievers with European lineage and championship bloodlines. We are dedicated to responsible breeding practices. Our dam is Layla Pearl, who we purchased from Pristine Goldens in New Holland PA. Layla is OFA certified and DNA tested for genetic health and breed ancestry. Layla and her pups live with us in our home with 11 acres in Michael, Illinois. We are located between the Illinois and Mississippi rivers about 1 hour north of St Louis. Layla's puppies are raised in our home, kennel free. Each puppy we raise will come to the buyer with a health warranty and will be given a health clearance by our Vet prior to transfer to the new owners. All of our puppies will be crate trained, wormed, microchipped, and up to date with all vaccines. Please reach out to us to find out more about our dogs.
